'People think I don't like Argentina, but I love it'
Cristiano Ronaldo recently broadcast a live video on his Instagram, in which he responded to questions over his feelings towards Argentina, the country of his rival Lionel Messi.
The Portuguese international treated his fans to a glimpse into his life, delighting them with a live video of him relaxing in the garden with his family.
He received various questions from his thousands of fans during the video, and one of them was over his thoughts about Argentina, the country of his arch-enemy Leo Messi. However, the Real Madrid forward defied presumptions and revealed his love for the country.
"People think I don't like Argentina," he said. "But I love it."
He went on to refer to his girlfriend, Georgina, who is half-Argentinian, and was born in Buenos Aires
"My girlfriend is from Argentina," he continued. "Many people don't know this. She's from there, and from Spain"
