Roma goalkeeper, the Spaniard Pau López, suffered a microfracture in his wrist on Wednesday during training, Rome informed 'EFE'.
Ex-Espanyol, Betis, and Tottenham goalkeeper, Pau López, had started individual training on Monday and will be out for around 3 weeks before being able to return to sporting activity.
The Spanish goalkeeper, who Roma paid Betis 28 million euros for last summer, is the first Serie A player to get injured after the government allowed clubs to return to their training centres on 4th May.
Pau López has played 35 matches this season under the Portuguese Paulo Fonseca and Roma are 5th in the table.
On Wednesday, Roma celebrated Nicolas Zaniolo's return to training after he tore his cruciate ligaments in his right knee in January.
