Mesut Ozil has returned to the Arsenal training ground after recovering from a flu which has kept him out of action since Boxing Day.
The Germany star arrived at London Colney on Thursday where he will be assessed by the club doctor, with Ozil missing Arsenal's last two Premier League games through illness. Ozil will sit out the FA Cup third round match against Preston on Saturday but looks set to return for the trip to Swansea a week later. 28-year-old record signing Ozil is currently locked in contract talks over a new long term extension with the club.
