Despite being central to the limited successes Arsenal have had this season, Ozil has still been criticised by Arsenal fans, and is hoping to change these misconceptions about his committment
Despite providing 18 assists, which puts him on track to beat Thierry Henry's Premier League record of 20 in a single season, Ozil has been criticised over his work rate, and he is hoping to erradicate this misconception about him.
"My goal is to make sure my body language is right," Ozil told BT Sport.
"When I make a mistake, I get annoyed and you can tell from my body language. But these days I try to make sure that I don't do that anymore because in football you can make mistakes and play a bad pass.
"It is more for the fans, the people who watch the game, [rather than team-mates], because they might think that I’m not fighting anymore."
