OFFICIAL: Tyler Adams joins Bournemouth
It's official: American Tyler Adams is a Bournemouth player. He arrives from Leeds for a fee of 23 million euros.
Bournemouth have completed the signing of Leeds United's Tyler Adams. He is the ninth player sold or loaned by the Peacocks since their relegation from the Premier League.
The 24-year-old midfielder only joined Leeds last summer, but had been looking to leave Elland Road since the team's relegation to the Championship at the end of last season.
He was on the verge of joining Chelsea, but the Blues gave priority to Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, despite competition from Liverpool.
AFC Bournemouth Chief Executive Neill Blake said: "We are delighted to have brought Tyler to the club, he is a player we have admired for a long time.
