The 27-year-old has joined West Brom from Reading on a two-year deal with the option for a further year.

The striker has been playing since 2009 for his former club but his contract ended at the end of last season.

Robson-Kanu announced on the club's website that he's happy to join Cardiff City and excited to play for them.

"It was an important decision for me and my family and we took our time.

"But it's a fantastic club and manager and I'm really happy to be here.

He is happy to take this step and start a new chapter by joining the club.

"I'm particularly pleased to be back in the Premier League. I am grateful for everything that Reading have done for me and I enjoyed my time there.

"The sooner I can get on the score-sheet and start helping my new club, the better. I'm used to being relied on to score goals".

He scored at Euro 2016 two goals in five appearances for Wales and helped them to reach the semi-finals.
