Maximo Perrone is new Manchester City player. The midfielder has followed in the footsteps of his compatriot Julian Alvarez and made the leap to Europe after playing for Velez Sarsfield. The Argentinian player has signed for the English club for the next five seasons.
Guardiola's side have completed the signing of Maximo Perrone from Velez Sarsfield. The midfielder moves to the Etihad Stadium on a five-and-half year contract.
Perrone made his debut for Velez in March 2022 and played 33 competitive matches. In addition, he scored three goals and provided two assists for the Argentine team.
The midfielder has followed in the footsteps of his compatriot Julian Alvarez, who moved to Man City last year.
"We’re delighted to have completed the signing of Maximo Perrone from Velez Sarsfield. The midfielder will join us after the U-20 South American Championship," the English club wrote on Twitter.
