OFFICIAL: Galatasaray complete sensational €80m deal for Victor Osimhen
Galatasaray have officially announced the signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli in what is one of the most high-profile transfers in Turkish football history.
The Nigerian striker joins the Istanbul giants in a deal worth up to €80 million, bringing an end to months of speculation over his future.
The agreement sees Galatasaray pay €40 million immediately, with a further €35 million due in a year's time. An additional €5 million is included in potential bonuses based on goal-related performances.
Napoli will also receive 10% of any future profit made from a resale, while a clause has been inserted to block any move to an Italian club for the next two years.
Osimhen, 26, arrives as a marquee signing and a major statement of intent from the Turkish champions, who are aiming to make a deeper impact in European competition this season. He is expected to join up with the squad immediately.
