Fulham announced on Tuesday that they have signed defender Timothy Castagne from Leicester City. The Belgian has signed on a four-year deal with the west London club, with the option to extend another season until 2028.

Fulham have announced the signing of Timothy Castagne on their official social media. The Belgian has left Leicester City after three seasons to return to the Premier League with the Cottagers.

The 27-year-old has joined the London side on a four-year contract, with the option to add another season. He is Fulham's first signing since Aleksandar Mitrovic left the club to join the lucrative Saudi Pro-League.

Castagne is Marco Silva's fourth signing this summer, and joins the reinforcements of Raul Jimenez, Calvin Bassey and Adama Traore. He opens this new chapter after making 112 appearances for the Foxes.

Following his move, the defender said he felt "very good", adding “it’s been a long transfer window, but finally I’m here, and I’m happy to be here".

“It’s a big relief. I’ve talked to the Manager and I just can’t wait to start training and playing”, he continued.
