Real Madrid and Chelsea have come to an agreement over Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, who will join the Premier League champions after a medical.
Chelsea have agreed terms with Real Madrid for the signing of Alvaro Morata.The Spanish giants released an official statement thanking the striker for his service to the club, as the Spain international joins the Blues for a reported fee of £70.7 million.
The player left his team's pre-season camp in Los Angeles to travel to London and seal the deal. He is expected to complete a medical and agree personal terms before putting pen to paper with Conte's team.
The 24-year-old will arrive at the club's offices on Thursday morning and is expected to sign a five-year contract to keep him at the Bridge.
'Real Madrid and Chelsea have agreed on the transfer of Alvaro Morata, who will be subject to a medical', Real Madrid's statement read.
'The club want to thank him for his years of dedication and professionalism and his exemplary behaviour since his rise from the academy to his time with the first team', the club expressed.
