After it was reported in recent hours that Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe had turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia and preferred to try his luck in the Turkish league, the Ivory Coast international has now signed for Trabzonspor.

Nicolas Pepe has been announced as a new Trabzonspor player in the next few hours. The Arsenal winger has already landed in Turkey after reaching an agreement with Bjelica's side.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Ivory Coast international has signed a short-term deal until June 2024 and will undergo a medical on Friday morning.

It is worth noting that a few hours ago it was reported that the former Lille player had turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia and preferred to try his luck in Turkey.

Nicolas Pepe was not in Mikel Arteta's plans last season, in which he only played 23 games, scoring 3 goals and providing 6 assists. So far at the start of the season the 28-year-old winger had not played a single minute for the Gunners.
