Atalanta beat Parma 1-3, but not without suffering. Gervinho gave Parma the lead after eight minutes, but Atalanta fought back. Pasalic scored the equaliser and Zapata's brace sealed the three points for the away side.

Parma came out flying in the first half. They found the goal in the eighth minute. Pasalic made a mistake. He lost the ball and it was put on a plate for Gervinho, who did not miss. It was the worst possible start for Atalanta...

Far from feeling sorry for himself after his error, Pasalic managed to redeem himself. Alejandro Gomez assisted and the Croat restored parity on the scoreboard. The match went into the half-time interval at 1-1. Atalanta's fightback would occur in the second half. The away team struggled to find the gaps, but did not give in. Duvan Zapata was the heroe for the men from Bergamo.

The first goal came in the 70th minute. Castagne gave him the ball and Zapata did the rest. That made it 1-2 for Atalanta.

But the Colombian wanted more. In the 93rd minute, he was influential once again. Another assist by 'Papu' Gomez and three points for the visitors. Thanks to the victory, Atalanta have now moved into fifth position at least for now with 48 points. Parma, on the other hand, lose for the second game in a row and stay 11th with 33 points.
