Niko Kovac denies contact with Everton
Ex Bayern manager, Niko Kovac, was at the Everton v Chelsea match. According to 'Goal', this could have been due to Everton's interest in getting him as manager, something that the manager has strongly denied.
They say appearances are deceiving. And in football, this phrase sometimes takes on an extra value. So much so that the simple fact that a player or manager watches a match live raises suspicions about the possibility of them ending up at the team.
That is what happened to Niko Kovac. 'Goal' assure that Kovac has denied he will be the new Everton manager despite being spotted at Goodison Park. Not surprisingly, after the dismissal of Marco Silva, Farhad Moshiri is looking for a manager in the market.
Pochettino and Ancelotti have been touted as possible replacements to manage Everton. They are currently 14th in the Premier League with 17 points from 16 matches.
Kovac left Bayern Munich by mutual consent after the German outfit's bad run of form. Bayern are 7th in the league, 6 points of Borussia Monchengladbach who are top.
