New Barca attempt for Eric García
'Mundo Deportivo', on their cover on Tuesday, state that FC Barcelona are going to make Manchester City a new offer (the second) to sign Eric García this week.
Eric García is an obsession for Barca. The side have their eyes set on the young Catalan centre-back and they are not going to stop until they manage to sign him.
City know Barcelona's intentions but aren't willing to get rid of one of their most promising talents just like that.
The first offer that Barcelona made for the player was 10 million, a sum that the Sky Blues rejected because they considered it insufficient.
Far from being daunted, Barcelona have already prepared the second offer and are going to make it this week, as 'Mundo Deportivo' indicate on their cover on Tuesday.
The newspaper states that Barca, after the first negative from City, are going to up it by 5 million at the most, so their limit would be 15 million.
However, the aforementioned source states that Guardiola's side are asking for 18 million. If there is no agreement, Eric García will be a free agent in the summer.
