David Moyes cannot confirm whether Joe Hart's future at West Ham is secure, as they prepare to host his parent club Manchester City at the London Stadium.

Hart is unavailable to West Ham for their clash with Manchester City, according to the stipulations of his loan agreement, so Adrian will step in for the 'Hammers'.

Ahead of the match, Moyes refused to coment on whether West Ham would be striving to sign Hart on a permanent deal, after rumours swirled that Adrian would force his own departure from the club this summer.

He said: ''There's certainly no talk on whether it will be Adrian or Joe Hart [as future No1] until we're in a position of safety, or wherever we're going to be. So we've not discussed anything, to be honest.''

Moyes also piled the pressure on Adrian, he said: ''I hope he plays that well against Manchester City that he's available to play the next one, that's the plan. If you get in and you do well [you stay in]

''You can't play a Manchester United or City and do well without your keeper playing well so we need a big game from Adrian on Sunday."

The 'Hammers' boss also addressed the challenge that they face against the newly crowned Premier League champions, City.

He said: ''I don't know if there's any good time to play Manchester City with the form they're in and the players they've got available. We'll do everything we can to give them a game and make it as tough as we can.''
