Morata was the fastest in the box to make it two for Spain
The Chelsea striker did not want to miss out on the feast at La Rosalerda. Spain were enjoying themselves and Morata took advantage of a mistake by Carvajal to tap into the empty net.
Spain were cruising against Costa Rica, who seemed powerlessly destined to defend for ninety minutes. Thiago, Iniesta, Silva and Isco knocked the ball around to the home crowd's delight.
In the 22nd minute, Spain scored their second of the night. Iniesta and Silva combined and Carvajal parried the latter's cross into the path of Morata, who was smart enough to get to the ball faster than the defender.
