After a poor second spell at Man Utd, Cristiano Ronaldo could go back to another of his former clubs. 'The Mirror' reports that this summer he could return to Real Madrid. According to this media outlet, Real Madrid are "more and more interested" in being reunited with the number 7.

Real Madrid are celebrating. Against Espanyol, Carlo Ancelotti's side won the league title and they are still in the fight for a Champions League spot.

While players are working their socks off on the pitch, the club are doing the same behind closed doors. Madrid are already looking ahead to the 2022-23 campaign.

Cristiano Ronaldo is among the list of possible signings, according to 'The Mirror'. According to the newspaper, Madrid are interested in giving the striker another chance. The Portuguese left the club for Turin in summer 2018.

United's disappointing season at Man Utd has reportedly made Cristiano think about leaving Old Trafford. The Red Devils are going to find it difficult to be in next season's Champions League and Ronaldo wants to play in that competition.

'The Mirror' reports that the main target for Real Madrid is Kylian Mbappe, but the paper believes that he could stay at PSG. Cristiano, according to the newspaper, would be a great alternative which would cost Madrid a lot less than the Frenchman.

Cristiano's future is unknown, but in England they seem to be clear that he will not stay in the Premier League. PSG are also a possible destination for Ronaldo if Mbappe moves to Real Madrid.
