The Argentine did not have a clear chance in the return leg in the Champions League last 16 game and he and his teammates lost the tie in 20-25 second half minutes. PSG were 0-1 up in the second leg and 0-2 ahead on aggregate before Karim Benzema netted a hat-trick to give Madrid a 3-1 victory.
Messi has played against Real Madrid 46 times. The first of those was back on 19th May 2005 when he was just 18 and his first goal came on 2nd May 2009 when Pep Guardiola was the boss. His last goal at the Bernabeu was on 23rd April 2017 when Barca won 2-3 and the last time he scored against Madrid was on 6th May 2018 in a 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou. However, he still has a good record at the Bernabeu as he has won on 12 of his 23 visits there.
The Argentine left Barcelona this summer and signed for PSG with the aim of winning the Champions League together with the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, Ángel Di María, Marco Verratti, Donnarumma and Sergio Ramos...
