Takefusa Kubo, who was Kylian Mbappe's opponent in last week's Champions League last-16 first leg, admitted to reporters on Wednesday that the PSG star "speaks Spanish very well" and that he believes "he is preparing" for a possible move to Real Madrid.
Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo threw in some irony on Wednesday when asked about the possible arrival of France international Mbappe at Madrid and stated that he noticed that "he speaks Spanish very well" and that in his opinion "he will be preparing".
"I noticed that Mbappe speaks Spanish better when I spoke to him. He will be preparing himself, I think," he said.
Kubo was able to see that last Wednesday at the Parc des Princes, when PSG and Real Sociedad played the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie in which the Parisians came out on top 2-0.
Mbappe has already informed the PSG president that he will not renew his contract with the French club until the end of the current season, and all signs point to him signing for Madrid.
