Kylian Mbappé always makes the news. Whether it's for Real Madrid's interest, his discussions with Thomas Tuchel, or, of course, for his goals. The Frenchman, still 21 years old, is on his way to becoming the all-time U23 goalscorer, above Messi or Cristiano. Now, we review the times he has scored more than one goal per game, only to confirm the obvious: he is already a living legend.

There is a tendency to compare Mbappé with stars like Cristiano, Messi or Neymar. After all, his numbers have put him at their level... But sometimes we seem to forget that he is only 21 years only; 11 less than the Argentinean, 14 less than the Portuguese. That is why, although his beaviour off the pitch has been put into question, his performances on the pitch are nothing short of breathtaking, and they could very well lead him to break more records.

Let's dive into the ProFootballDB database. For example, if we look at the number of times a player has scored doubles, hat tricks or more below the age of 23, the PSG goal scorer appears in every section. And although he is not a leader in any of them, he clearly outperforms them.

In terms of doubles in the major leagues up to the age of 23, Leo Messi is in the lead thanks to the 19 times he has achieved this. The only player already retired from the table is Fernando Torres, who is second at 13.

Four players share the third place and 12 doubles, although only two of them are active. Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney still play, but have already passed that age. Mbappe and Werner, on the other hand, can continue to climb the charts.

However, the German will be 24 next March 6, so his margin for advancement is slim. As for Mbappé, he can progress until 20 December 2021. In view of his averages and with so much time ahead, there is reason to believe that the Frenchman will succeed in breaking Messi's record.

If up to 1,235 players have achieved at least a double that age group, 114 have achieved a hat-trick. The U23 hat-trick table is also headed by the Barcelona player, who got four before turning 23. Heung-min Son came in third with two. Between the two, three players were tied: Owen, Berardi and Mbappé.

Once again, the Frenchman is the only one who is of an age to progress. They also have it in their power to become the king of this ranking.

As for the matches in which an U-23 managed to score four goals in one match, only 15 players have managed it. 14 of them only once; only Alberto Gilardino signed the merit of repeating it.

Of those who are active and even with less than 23 years, Mbappé, who made one to Olympique Lyon in 2018, in just 13 minutes, threatens to at least equal the Italian. He is also still in the hands of Luka Jovic, who not only scored four goals in one game, but also hit the back of the net against Fortuna Dusseldorf in a Bundesliga match.
