Manchester City confirmed on Thursday that Benjamin Mendy had ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Now, compatriots Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann have offered their support for the left-back.
Mendy was forced off in the 29th minute of City's 5-0 thumping of Crystal Palace last weekend and will now be out of action until April.
With the news, former Monaco teammate Mbappe and France striker Griezmann were quick to offer their support to City's £52m man.
Mbappe tweeted: "Big support to you my friend in this difficult I know you can do and know that everyone is with you".
While Griezmann added: "Courage amigo!!"
