Maurits Kjaergaard, Mourinho's new target
Jose Mourinho has asked Roma to sign RB Salzburg winger Maurits Kjaergaard. The Danish attacker is under contract in Austria until 2026 and is on the Italian side's radar.
Mourinho has already targeted his first signing for 2023. It is the attacker Ola Solbakken, who the Portuguese coach took note of in the matches between Roma and Norwegian side Bodo Glimt last season.
The Portuguese coach's project did not stop there. According to journalist Gianluigi Longari of 'SportItalia', the Portuguese coach asked for the signing of RB Salzburg attacker Maurits Kjaergaard.
The 19-year-old Danish winger is one of the young talents of European football and has a contract in Austria until June 2026.
This season, Kjaergaard has scored two goals and provided four assists in 24 games played. Interestingly, RB Salzburg are Roma's next opponents in the Europa League.
