Rodri Hernandez has made an important step towards a return to action as he completed a full training session with his Manchester City teammates on Wednesday.

The Ballon d'Or-winning midfielder, who has been recovering from an ACL injury, was previously seen training alone, but now his involvement in group training has raised hopes that he could feature in the upcoming FA Cup final against Crystal Palace.

With the FIFA Club World Cup also on the horizon, his recovery is crucial for Manchester City's ambitions. It has been seven months since Rodri sustained a serious knee injury during the Premier League clash against Arsenal, when he ruptured the ACL in his right knee.

The injury kept him out of action for an extended period, and the Sky Blues have certainly felt his absence in midfield. Now, with the midfielder back in full training, they are optimistic about his return to the pitch and regaining the level of play they had prior to his injury.

While Pep Guardiola remains cautious and reluctant to rush his star player back, the prospect of him playing a role in the FA Cup final is becoming increasingly likely.  As the season draws to a close, Manchester City fans are eager to see him back in action.
