Jadon Sancho has failed to deliver since joining Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021. However, the England winger has begun to experience a nightmare season at the Red Devils as he has been exiled from the first team by manager Ten Hag.
The former Dortmund man has played just 76 minutes in three competitive appearances so far this season, so it was obvious that both the club and the Three Lions international would be looking for a new destination for him in the winter transfer window.
It now appears that Jadon Sancho will be looking to rediscover his best form at Borussia Dortmund, where he rose to prominence. The 23-year-old winger is very close to a return to the Signal Iduna Park outfit, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist has reported that both the player and the Bundesliga club have reached an agreement and that the Mancunian club are willing to let the English attacker leave on loan. In addition, the Red Devils would pay part of Sancho's salary although Dortmund will have to pay a small loan fee.
