Manchester City have now apparently got a lawyer to try and fight their case and get them back into Europe. According to the English press, it is David Pannick who famously blocked Brexit on two occasions.
UEFA banned Manchester City from playing in the Champions League for two years after considering that they broke FFP rules through illegal sponsorship deals between 2012 and 2016.
But the English side are not going to give up and they have already got down to work to find a top lawyer to get them back into European competition.
According to the 'Mirror', City have hired David Pannick, a lawyer who twice blocked Brexit when the UK government wanted to take the UK out of the European Union.
That said, it will be an expensive appointment for Man City since the lawyer will be earning 20,000 pounds a day.
Among Manchester City's arguments to get the ban overturned is that certain emails were accessed illegally, They were stolen and messages were taken out of context, the club claim.
But one of the main reasons that Pep Guardiola's side will use in defence is the 'Spygate' situation in 2013. Then, several Liverpool workers have accessed the players scouting network. In fact, Man City are considering take this case against Liverpool to CAS.
