Mallorca's trip to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium in La Liga ended in a 2-0 defeat. However, Mallorca felt they were on the wrong end of a key refereeing decision early in the second half.

Sevilla got their fourth consecutive home win in La Liga after beating Mallorca 2-0. However, the islanders were left far from happy

In the 48th minute, with the score at 2-0, a long ball was sent forward for Muriqi and he fought for the ball with Sevilla defender Bade

The central defender got there first and played the ball back to Bono. However, the pass back was underhit and Muriqi got onto the loose ball. The Mallorca man ended up on the floor after contact from Bade and wanted a red card for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity.

Referee Javier Iglesias Villanueva gave no foul and VAR Antonio Mateu Lahoz decided not to intervene. That left Mallorca fuming

"A simple fight...", they wrote on Twitter together with a picture of Muriqi's shirt being pulled. Mallorca feel they were harshly treated on a disappointing evening for them.
