The Portuguese forward has been waiting for a contract offer for months, and according to 'Marca', Real Madrid will hold talks with him at the end of the season, with a bumper offer expected to be put on the table.

Lionel Messi's huge new contract, as well as Neymar's lucrative PSG deal have forced Real Madrid's hand, after the Portuguese international watched as his two main Ballon d'Or rivals received deals netting them €45m (Messi) and €35m (Neymar) respectively per year. Madrid's number 7 had come out in the press claiming he wasn't looking for a renewal, but it is highly unlikely that he will be happy to see his rivals netting significantly more than his €23million salary.

This offer will be presented whether or not Neymar arrives in Madrid, and will hopefully be enough to tie the forward down.
