Haaland's salary demands have been revealed by Goal. AFP

'Goal' have reported that Haaland is hoping to manage a salary of 35 million euros net per season once he leaves Borussia Dortmund. Demands that would complicate the deal given the world's current delicate economic climate.

The signing of Haaland this summer is becoming more and more complicated, especially following the information published by 'Goal' about the astronomic wage demands of the Norwegian in order to leave Borussia Dortmund.

Apart from the transfer fee, which would reach some 150 million euros, Haaland would put as a condition a salary of 35 million euros net per season.

We're talking about an execessive salary that only a few stars in world football can reach. If he achieves his objective, Haaland would enter the top bracket of earners for the clubs that want him, all the while being just 20-years-old.

On top of all of this, there would be further commisions added for his agent, Mino Raoila, who usually includes large sums of money. Although it is Haaland's salary that attracts more attention, given that with a five-year contract would amount to 175 million euros in total.

Real Madrid and Barcelona, the two clubs who are keeping the most tabs on Europe's hottest property, will need to have large enough budgets to be able to afford to complete the deal - which could require them to fork out a massive 500 million euros for just one footballer.

However, at the moment, the first step to overcome will be the transfer itself, given that Dortmund don't want to let go of the striker and - as Raoila pointed out recently - the economic states of the clubs that are keeping tabs on him are nothing to write home about.
