The Uruguay national team has confirmed that two players have tested positive in the tests carried out before the Brazil match. Amongst them is the striker Luis Suárez, who, if it is, could miss the match against Barcelona.
Luis Suárez has tested positive for the coronavirus. He did so while away on international duty with the Uruguay national team.
The South American side confirmed that two players have tested positive for the virus, with Rodrigo Muñoz also testing positive.
Suárez will thus miss the match against his ex-team Barcelona at the weekend, while also missing his country's match against Brazil.
The national team also confirmed that both players show no symptoms and that they have followed the corresponding measures.
