The French defender and World Cup winner was operated on his knee and was seen in the streets of Munich. The German tabloid 'Bild' spotted the players visiting the facilities of his future club.

Bayern Munich put 80 million euros on the table, the amount in the French footballer's buyout clause in his Atletico contract. The team from Madrid tried all they could to keep hold of a fundamental part of Diego Simeone's team, but Lucas Hernandez thought this transfer would be good for his career after thinking about it for various days in what was a difficult decision.

'Bild' caught the footballer in the streets of Munich together with his granddad, Bernard. Lucas Hernandez was operated on his knee and he was seen with crutches near the German's club facilities.

Lucas will not play for Atletico Madrid again this season as he is recovering from this injury and he will put on the Bayern shirt from 1st July.

In addition, Lucas has been in the Brenner restaurant, one of the best in the city, which will be his new home until 2025.
