Atletico Madrid's narrow victory over lowly Deportivo was as much down to their strong defending as anything else, with on Lucas Hernandez tackle a particularly fine display of pace, timing and commitment.
Borja Valle raced clear on the counter attack and bore down on Jan Oblak's goal. Lucas, on the other side of the pitch at this point, set off in pursuit, seemingly with very little chance to making any sort of impact.
