Club record signing Jurgen Locadia is set to make his debut for the 'Seagulls' when his new side meets Coventry in the FA cup on Saturday. The Dutchman is also planning a musical career after football.

Locadia was an unused substitute against Stoke but now the £14 million forward is finally ready to take his first steps in Brighton's blue and white stripes. He'll be hoping to open up his scoring account in the side's FA Cup fixture on Saturday.

In the build-up to the game Locadia said "It will be a crazy feeling. I think the Premier League and the FA Cup also is a big dream of mine so when I get minutes on Saturday it will be a crazy feeling."

Locadia, who suffered from injuries at PSV, discovered a passion for music in his recovery and has since released three singles.

"It happened three years ago. I had a friend who was a producer also and we started hanging out and making music," the Dutchman said.

He went on to add: "I enjoy making music and I think when I finish my career as a soccer player I will definitely go into music."

The Brighton forward wouldn't be the first player to pursue music after football. Ex-Southampton bad boy Dani Osvaldo decided to hang up his boots in 2016 to play with his band 'Barrio Viejo.'
