Barca just too good here

A raft of changes for Barca

Messi, Suarez, Pique, Rakitic are among those to go off. Alcacer, Aleña, Samper and Marlon come on.

Double change for Chape

Apodi and Curzel make way for Zeballo and Moraes.

Barca 5-0 Chape

Lionel Messi makes this look so easy. His through ball sends Surez one-on-one and he makes no mistake, slotting past Curzel from 12 yards.

GOAL BARCA!

Denis Suarez!

Chape make a change

Guerrero makes way for Caike.

Just too long

Chape go forward and get in a good cross from the left but it just evades the man at the far post.

Dangerous free kick for Chape

Apodi is fouled by Alba as he tried to scamper forward. But the free kick from the right is easily dealt with by Barca.

Chape are forced into a change

Nadson comes off with Moises replacing him. Looks like the former may have torn a hamstring, he was taken off the field on a stretcher.

Here they come

Samuel Umtiti and Andres Iniesta are withdrawn.

Roberto and Mascherano will be joining the fray shortly

Not the band...

Chance Barca

Messi looks for the far corner from the edge of the box but he curls just wide.

Barca 4-0 Chape

Finally he has his goal. Iniesta switches the ball out to Suarez on the right. He plays a one-two with Messi that gives him a sight of goal and he duly powers home at the near post from the angle. Good finish.

GOAL BARCA!

Suarez!

Changes

Tulio de Melo and Nadson come on for Nenen and Wellington Paulista for Chape. Denis Suarez and Jasper Cillessen are on for Deulofeu and Ter Stegen for Barca.

Ruschel and Messi exchanged shirts at half-time

The Chape defender described it as 'an honour' and 'a dream'.

We're back underway!

HT: Barcelona 3-0 Chapecoense

Barcelona have a commanding lead at the half thanks to goals from Deulofeu, Busquets and Messi.

Half-time!

That's the end of the first 45 here.

Great save!

Suarez catches a volley from a corner flush at the far post but Curzel beats the ball away. He's had a busy half.

Curzel again!

Messi dinks the ball over the top for Iniesta but his attempted lob is plucked out of the air by the Chape keeper.

Off the line!

Messi is once again fed from the left but his low effort on goal is blocked by Otavio.

Chape sub

Alan Ruschel leaves the field to the applause of every single person in the Camp Nou. He is replaced by Penilla.

Good save Curzel!

Suarez is put in with a defence-splitting ball from the right but Curzel stands up as Suarez tries to dink the ball over him.

Lovely stuff from Barca

Messi draws a defender before back-heeling the ball to the onrushing Suarez. Under pressure, the Uruguayan can only prod the ball towards goal be he forces Curzel to save with his legs.

Mexican waves in the crowd

Not sure the Chape players are in a party mood though.

Barca 3-0 Chape

This could turn into a rout. Messi spins a defender and dances past a challenge 30 yards out. He finds Deulofeu on the left, his first effort at a cross is blocked by Otavio but he puts it in the box at the second time of asking and Messi, who has continued his run, lifts the ball over Curzel and into the net from close-range.

GOAL BARCA!

Messi!

Great save from Curzel!

Deulofeu puts in a low cross from the left and Messi fires it towards goal, he catches it well but the Chape keeper saves well down to his left.

Barca looking dangerous every time they attack

Messi makes a great run in behind following a corner and he's played onside, he looks to take the keeper out of the equation and find Pique but the flag goes up against the centre-back.

Chape looking dangerous from set pieces

Another deep ball comes in an Chape win the header but it never looks like troubling Ter Stegen

Stop it!

Wellington works back and disposses Messi before leaving Busquets for dead with a Maradona turn, good stuff from the striker.

Chape attack!

Lourency flicks a long ball on to Wellington, the striker drives forward and tries his luck from just outside the box but he doesn't really catch it and it dribbles wide.

Barca 2-0 Chape

You know it's not your day when Busquets is scoring those. Chape appeal for a penalty at one end and Barca counter. Deulofeu looks to have been stopped in his tracks but he pulls the ball back to the edge of the box where Busquets collects it and duly curls the ball into the top corner from 25 yards with the help of the crossbar. Pick that one out.

GOAL BARCA!

Busquets!

Barca 1-0 Chape

Very good football. Rakitic plays a one-two with Suarez down the right, the Croat then has the presence of mind to nutmeg an onrushing defender before drawing the 'keeper and squaring to the former Everton man to tap into an empty net from six yards.

GOAL BARCA!

Deulofeu!

Chance Barca!

Another! Suarez plays two one-twos with Messi and finds himself in but his effort from the angle is saved by Curzel.

Chance Barca!

Suarez looks to be in but hw is denied by a fine challenge from Luiz Otavio.

Chance Barca!

Barca pile forward and when Chape fail to clear, Busquets put Messi in. He is completely unmarked by Curzel does well to tip his effort over the bar. From the resulting corner Ivan Rakitic heads over.

We're off!
