A summer of big signings awaits at Chelsea, according to information managed by the British paper 'Daily Star'. Because although Pedro and Willian could leave, Lampard wants to replace them with Werner and Sancho.
Pedro and Willian have not renewed their contracts and although they have yet to reach an agreement with any club to move for free next summer, it is taken for granted that they will do so sooner or later. They will be two notable absentees for Chelsea.
As they will go for nothing, Chelsea's net expenditure will be even greater. And, according to the cited media outlet, the London club's board will go big.
Their targets will be Timo Werner and Jadon Sancho. The first has been playing at a great level for RB Leipzig and it is strange that he is still there, that no one has splashed the cash out to satisfy his club's demands.
The other player moved to Dortmund in summer 2017 and he has grown in spectacular fashon becoming a fundamental player for Favre this term, in which he has scored 15 goals in 28 matches.
Werner, 23, has scored 25 goals in 29 matches and his current market value is almost 110 million euros. Sancho has an even larger price, 145 million euros. Chelsea will have to try and balance the books elsewhere if they want to spend so much.
