Alexandre Lacazette often has to play second fiddle to Olivier Giroud for France but he made his case for more regular football by opening the scoring against world champions Germany on Tuesday night.
The Arsenal man opened the scoring for 'Les Bleus', tapping home from close range after excellent work from Anthony Martial.
Lucas Digne found the Manchester United manjust inside the Germany box and the flying flanker proceeded to demonstrate his quick feet by skipping away from two Germany defenders before unselfishly squaring the ball to Lacazette.
It was a rare moment of real quality in what was a first half of very few chances.
