Dutch midfielder Justin Kluivert has hinted at the inevitability of Dean Huijsen's departure from Bournemouth, with the defender increasingly attracting attention from major European clubs, including Real Madrid.

The 19-year-old centre-back has enjoyed a remarkable season in the Premier League, catching the eye with his impressive performances for the Cherries.

His breakout year culminated in a call-up to Spain's senior squad, where he earned his first cap in a Nations League match against Kluivert's Netherlands, which Spain won in a dramatic penalty shootout.

Kluivert, speaking after the match, praised his teammate's talent, stating: "Dean has been exceptional for us at Bournemouth. He's an incredibly talented player, and Spain has found a real gem in him."

Having moved to England only last summer, Huijsen quickly adapted to the rigours of the Premier League, showcasing maturity beyond his years.

His performances have not gone unnoticed, and the Bournemouth midfielder, aware of the growing interest from top clubs, added: "He's still so young, and already he's playing for Spain. I have no doubt he will attract a lot of offers in the summer."

With multiple top-tier clubs monitoring his progress, including Real Madrid, Kluivert made it clear that the defender's time at Bournemouth could be coming to an end. "We all know he won't be here with us next season," he concluded.
