Cook is one of few managers to get the better of Pep Guardiola. Portsmouth

Wigan's shock FA Cup victory over Manchester City on Monday night saw manager Paul Cook join the small group of bosses who have got the better of Pep Guardiola.

The game was the first time cook had come up against the Spaniard, meaning that he now has a 100% record against the man many consider to be the best manager in world football.

It marks the pinnacle of Cook's managerial career, with the 50-year-old having previously managed the likes of Southport and Sligo Rovers.

The former midfielder joins an exclusive club, with Jurgen Klopp, Antonio Conte, Roberto Di Matteo, Ronald Koeman, Carlo Ancelotti and Claudio Ranieri the only other managers to have the upper hand on Guardiola.

Klopp is the only manager to have faced Guardiola on more than five occasions, with the pair facing off regularly during their time in Germany with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich respectively.

Interestingly, Guardiola has never beaten Koeman, Conte, Di Matteo, Ancelotti or Ranieri, though he has played very few games against each of them.

Roberto Di Matteo's victory over Guardiola was a particularly memorable one, coming in the Champions League semi-finals during the 2011-12 season, with the 'Blues' winning 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on the way to claiming a 3-2 aggregate victory.
