According to the 'Daily Mail', England goalkeeper Joe Hart wants to terminate his West Ham loan before the end of the transfer window on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old had moved to the London club to secure more first-team opportunities after being casted aside under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. However, that hasn't gone to plan as Hart has barely featured since David Moyes took over in November.

West Ham's other goalkeeper Adrian has started in goal in their last 10 Premier League matches with England's No. 1 having to settle for a rare appearance in the cup cometitions, although that looks set to end following their defeat to Wigan Athletic in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Hart needs to evaluate his future with Gareth Southgate's squad selection for the World Cup in Russia fast-approaching. Fortunately for the keeper, England don't have lots of options between the sticks.

However, his main rivals, Jordan Pickford and Jack Butland, are playing every week for Everton and Stoke respectively.

A possible location could be fellow Premier League club Liverpool, who have had issues with their shot-stoppers Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius this season. They also have had their bid for Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker rejected which means that Jurgen Klopp could quickly have to look for a short-term solution, although the lack of game time would be a concern for the German manager.

Hart has made 17 appearances on loan for West Ham this season, following his loan move to Serie A club Torino the year before.
