Julian Nagelsmann ended the controversy over Joao Cancelo in his press conference. The Bayern Munich manager admitted that the Portuguese full-back didn't train "as I wanted", even though he also revealed that it was a conversation which solved it all.

Julian Nagelsmann has cleared up the controversy there was with Joao Cancelo. After the mixed opinions on the player's attitude, the Bayern Munich boss put an end to what happened.

The Bavarian coach claimed that it all started due to the player's attitude: "There was a training session in which Joao didn't train as I wanted, but we spoke about it and that helped him a lot to understand what I want from him".

Naglesmann also said that reactions to not playing are different for every player: "He wasn't good that day, because he didn't like the position he was in. There are players who respond well to it and others that don't".

It's just water under the bridge, and the German coach said that Cancelo "will have the chance to start". There was a happy ending as Bayern Munich booked their spot in the Champions League quarter finals at the expense of PSG.

However, rumours of a move to Barcelona have appeared for the Portuguese man. The Catalan side are to be considering offer Manchester City the option to buy ahead of next season, according to 'SPORT' on Thursday.
