Konyaspor president Mehmet Akcan spoke to 'AS' and openly said that it is practically impossible for Isco to join them. The president of the Turkish club said that the Spaniard has high salatial demands and that his family do not want to live in Turkey.

After his move to Union Berlin fell through at the last minute, Isco is still looking for a club. In the last few hours, there was talk of him ending up at Everton, but the Toffees ruled out signing him because of doubts over his fitness.

There were also rumours of the Spaniard moving to Turkey as the transfer window in Turkey does not close until 8th February. In fact, Konyaspor president Mehmet Akcan confirmed advanced talks with Isco.

However, Akcan now says that he thinks it is impossible for both parties to come to an agreement. "Isco's family do not want to come to Turkey, they don't want to live here," he told 'AS'.

"Furthermore, his salarial demands are very high, much higher than our offer. We're trying to persuade him, but it looks very difficult. I think he won't change despite the fact we've advanced in talks. Right now, there's no deal," he added.

Therefore, a move to Konyaspor looks off the cards for Isco with just a few days left in the Turkish transfer window. Where will the former Real Madrid man end up?
