The Union Berlin players started joking about the supposed signing of Isco Alarcon and the president had to explain himself: "You could give me five names of players and I wouldn't deny them, nor would I affirm them," he said.

Isco Alarcon's future is uncertain. The midfielder has terminated his contract with Sevilla but has not yet found a new destination.

However, the former Real Madrid player started to be linked with Union Berlin in the last hours. According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the players joked at the last training session and started singing: "Isco, Isco."

Union Berlin president Dirk Zingler had some explaining to do ahead of the game against Hertha Berlin: "If he is linked with us, then we have done a lot of things right. You could give me five names of players and I wouldn't deny them, I wouldn't affirm them," he said.

Nothing has been officially confirmed, but it is certain that Isco has started to be linked with the club that are currently in second place in the Bundesliga.
