Iago Herrerin wants to stake his claim as a ball-playing goalkeeper, denouncing the different way he is viewed compared to Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
"When I get to the changing room and nobody says anything to me it means they now know me. What I find funny is that people always see when I miss a pass. They always criticise me for when I do something wrong, but never praise me when I do something right," says Herrerin, the goalkeeper currently playing for Athletic Bilbao.
In this sense, Herrerin wants to emphasise that "if this happens to Neuer or Ter Stegen they're considered 'top'". He continued by saying "But when I do it it's apparently risky and they say I play too much with my feet. I am as I am."
He also spoke about the threat of Atletico Madrid, saying "Juventus had to play their best game to win. As a minimum we have to play our best and we know we are going to suffer."
