There are plenty of people who would like to see Sergio Ramos playing in England, and one of them is Jonathan Woodgate. In an interview with 'AS', he invited the Real Madrid centre-back to come to the Premier League...
"I would like it if Ramos came to the Premier League. He wouldn't even get a red card.... Tell him to come!", Woodgate told the aforementioned Spanish publication.
Woodgate made it clear that if he had to pick a centre-back, the Real Madrid and Spain captain would be his man, "I love Sergio Ramos. I know he sometimes has a short temper, but he's won it all with the national team and with Madrid," he admitted.
Although he did mention other defenders who have impressed him. "Inigo Martinez is sensational and Gimenez at Atletico... He's strong, fast. A very English type of defender," he added.
Of all the defenders, Sergio Ramos is Woodgate's favourite and he would do anything to see him play in the Premier League... Could it happen one day?
