Ian Cathro, who was Nuno Espirito Santo's assistant at Valencia, will be reunited with his boss once more at Wolves.

Ian Cathro, the former Hearts boss, will be Wolves' first-team coach for the coming season, working alongside Nuno Espirito Santo once more.

The pair were a manager and coach pair at Valencia, and they have a long standing professional relationship.

Cathro told Wolves.co.uk: "I am very excited about joining Wolves and looking forward to working with a coach and staff I know, trust and believe in."

"All of us share the same footballing philosophy and that is such an important factor for a successful coaching team."

"Wolves is a fantastic club with a rich history and lots of potential, and I can't wait to get started."

Cathro began his coaching career at Dundee United, and also held an assistant managerial position at Newcastle.  He met with the Wolves squad on Wednesday.
