Spain's women's national team have announced a 25-player squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures against Belgium and England, with Real Madrid goalkeeper Misa Rodriguez and Tigres forward Jenni Hermoso among the most notable omissions.

Head coach Montse Tome has once again opted to leave out the two experienced internationals as Spain prepare for decisive matches that will determine their place in the Nations League finals.

Full Spain squad

Goalkeepers: Cata Coll, Eunate Astralaga and Esther Sullastres

Defenders: Laia Aleixandri, Jana Fernandez, Olga Carmona, Laia Codina, Sheila Garcia, Maria Mendez, Leila Ouahabi, Ona Batlle and Irene Paredes

Midfielders: Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmati, Vicky Lopez, Maite Zubieta and Patri Guijarro

Forwards: Mariona Caldentey, Athenea del Castillo, Salma Paralluelo, Claudia Pina, Esther Gonzalez, Cristina Martin-Prieto, Lucia Garcia and Alba Redondo

With this squad, Spain will look to secure qualification for the Nations League finals in the final two group-stage matches. They remain in control of their own destiny and will face Belgium at Den Dreef Stadion on 30 May, followed by a clash with England at the RCD Stadium on 3 June.

This marks the last call-up from Tome ahead of this summer's European Championship, which is set to take place in Switzerland from 2 to 27 July.
