In the midst of negotiations between Real Madrid and Benfica for Reinier's potential transfer, Henrique Araujo's name has popped up. The 20 year-old Portuguese was a UEFA Youth League champion with Benfica.

Benfica are getting closer and closer to signing Reinier, who would join on a loan deal after an agreement has been reached with Madrid for the transfer of the Brazilian player

'Marca' highlight that the agreement includes a loan without an option to buy, since the board of the Spanish side believes that the ex-Flamengo player still has a bright future ahead of him in Europe.

Yet, negotiations are still ongoing between the two sides. It seems that they are also trying to reach an agreement over 20 year-old Portuguese forward Henrique Araujo.

The Benfica youth team player has been on Madrid's radar for a few seasons now and 'Los Blancos' are very interested in the attacker who won the UEFA Youth League with the Portuguese side.

This is what the newspaper reports, who also highlight that the relationship between the two sides is excellent and so an agreement is expected to be reached soon.

Araujo has already made his debut with the first team, where he has had a great start: he has scored three goals in six official games, starting one of these.
