Handbags at the London Stadium as Noble scraps with Pogba
As West Ham and Manchester United's stalemate was drawing to a close, tensions began to rise and Mark Noble couldn't stop himself having a pop at the Frenchman.
After Paul Pogba tussled with Cheikhou Kouyate for possession of the ball, the Frenchman was upset to have not been awarded a foul. Reacting in the heat of the moment, the United midfieilder rose to his feet and clipped Noble's ankles, causing him to tumble to the floor.
The Hammers captain, visably angered, went straight for Pogba's jugular. Noble grabbed the Frenchman's throat but was quickly brushed off. Never one to shy away from a brawl, Andy Carroll then came galloping over, only to be fended off by the left arm of Luke Shaw.
Noble and Pogba were given a slap on the wrist and a yellow card by the referee before returning to their jobs and playing out a rather uninspiring stalemate.
