Ex footballer, Rio Ferdinand, has spoken about what Erling Haaland will have to do in order to adapt himself quickly to life at Manchester City. For him, the first thing that Haaland should do is "surpress his ego".

Erling Haaland will arrive at Manchester City in a matter of days. The Norwegian striker will join Pep Guardiola's outstanding team and now the player's adaption to the Spaniard's philosophy is in question.

Concerning this, ex Manchester United player, Rio Ferdinand, has been quoted in 'The Daily Mail' saying that the striker will need a "bedding-in period".

"What Pep's had with City when big players have come in, they get a bedding-in period", he started.

Ferdinand highlighted that "the biggest part of that (adapting) is the humility of the players that struggle", he mentioned that they should not "moan and kick up a fuss".

"That's where Haaland has to play his part if it doesn't go right. Suppress any ego... the bigger picture is not disturbing the morale of the squad", he warned.
