Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has issued a warning to Manchester United ahead of Sunday's Manchester derby, saying that playmaker Kevin De Bruyne is capable of absolutely everything on a football pitch.

Stopping the Belgian from playing will be top of United's to-do list ahead of the game at Old Trafford on Sunday but the Spaniard believes that the 'Red Devils' will do very well to do so, with De Bruyne both technically and mentally world class in Guardiola's eyes.

"He (De Bruyne) can do everything on the pitch. And, in terms of mentality as well, he never hides," Guardiola told 'Sky Sports' ahead of the game.

"The big players you realise in the bad moments, the bad moments in terms of 75 minutes, we are losing, how you react in that situation.

"With 4-0 everybody is a top-class player, the important time is when you are in the bad moments.

"I think he is world class because he can do absolutely everything."

Meanwhile, Guardiola also gave his opinion on the selection dilemma facing him up front, with both Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero champing at the bit to get the nod for the game.

"Maybe it is one of the toughest decisions because both are top, both deserve to play," admitted the City boss.

"I am so happy with both of them.

"When you play with two strikers, it is easy to take a decision. Gabriel is the best striker in the world in the high pressing.

"There is no one with the intensity and reading between the central defenders, attacking the holding midfielders from behind."
