Guardiola set to swoop ahead of former club?
Ousmane Dembele has been the subject of interest from Barcelona for some time now, though it now seems that their former boss could be set to throw a spanner in the works.
According to French source 'Le 10 Sport', Borussia Dortmund forward Ousmane Dembele has travelled to England for talks with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola. At this moment in time it is unknown whether he has the permission of his current employers to do so.
Dembele is widely considered to be one of the brightest talents on the planet, and Dortmund's capture of him last summer was considered something of a coup. Barcelona were interested then and have continued to keep an eye on the 20-year-old and have been heavily linked with a summer swoop.
However, Manchester City's interest has come from nowhere, but according to reports in German newspaper 'Bild', Dortmund are not worried about losing Dembele this summer, having slapped a €90m price tag on the French international.
